Mao Shan Wang / Musang King Durian

Musang King is widely regarded as the most famous and sought-after durian in Malaysia. Originating from Kelantan and now cultivated extensively in Raub, Pahang, this premium variety commands the highest prices in the market.
Flavour Profile: Rich, intensely creamy, and bittersweet with a thick, golden-yellow flesh. The texture is smooth and custard-like with minimal fibre.
How to Identify: Look for a distinctive star-shaped pattern at the base of the husk. The thorns are pyramidal and spaced apart. The flesh is deep golden-yellow.

D101 Durian

How to Identify: A small dark brown or black thorn-like protrusion is visible at the tip of each aril. The husk tends to be rounder and more compact.
